Gerald T. Ramsdell, DVM
For over 25 years, Dr. Gerald Ramsdell has been our Chief of Staff. He is a lifelong North East resident. He received his undergraduate degree from Gannon University in 1976 and his DVM degree from University of Georgia in 1988. Following veterinary school, Dr. Ramsdell spent two years at the Fredonia Animal Hospital (Fredonia, NY) before establishing the North East Animal Hospital.
Dr. Ramsdell's medical interests include ultrasound and orthopedic surgery.
Allison M. Dylewski, DVM
Allison M. Dylewski, DVM, was born and raised in Erie, PA. Dr. Dylewski spent her undergraduate years in Erie, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mercyhurst University in 2005. Given several choices of veterinary schools, Dr. Dylewski opted to escape the winter weather for a few years and graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Dylewski completed a small animal rotating internship at the Texas A&M University Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in 2010. During her internship, she became enthralled with emergency medicine. Dr. Dylewski has previously practiced at emergency and referral hospitals in Erie, PA and Detroit, Michigan before moving to Buffalo, NY in 2018. She joined Sheridan Animal Hospital in 2019.
